Transmission fluid check

    So Ive been watching videos on checking and changing transmission fluid. I just want to check mine at 35000 miles. If im correct , you check the fluid coming out of the check plug With The Motor Running. And to add fluid you have to turn off your truck and add a little each time and repeat.

    if you're just checking or topping off, leave the engine running for the whole thing.

    if it were completely empty like you did a pan drop, you'd do the first fill engine off, turn it on and then add/top off from there with the engine running
