There is no way to admit this gracefully, so I'll just say it....I mistakenly drained about a quart of transmission fluid when doing my oil change today. My question. Is it safe to drive to the dealer this way?
    Appreciate it guys

I wouldn't drive across country, but you should be fine for a trip to the dealer.

Just refill it yourself. Loosing a quart is no big deal. Just drive to get a quart, take it home and refill your tranny. Even if you have to pay 10 dollars for a pump from autozone, you will end up paying a lot more at the dealership.

Didn't post the year, but if you're still under warrantee you could just take it in and tell them it isn't shifting right

Thanks everyone for your input, appreciate it. It's a 2007, I bought it new in late 2006. Have done all the oil changes myself. I always slide under the truck from the front. Today, bacause of melting ice and snow, I slid in behind the driver's side wheel. Pulled the plug, saw that red fluid, and knew I screwed up. Felt like a fool, haven't told my wife yet.
    Again, thank you....
