You must live an exciting life where you need to get your jollies off by being a clown on a Toyota forum. Life is pathetic for some...

If ya'll have real beef, take it somewhere else; its okay to admit you're wrong. Take your not made up Tacomas, open the glove box, and look through the owners manual/maintenance manual. The AT fluid should be inspected at 30k service intervals, replaced at 60k in severe conditions. No one claimed lube techs were inspecting at every oil change, but it should be inspected at the 30k service. Whether a dealer does or doesn't, that's completely beside the point, and is something they would answer for (assuming OP has stayed on course with the maintenance schedule with his dealer)

Exactly. Read what it says _ Automatic transmission fluid cooler hoses and connections. It means check the trans lines and connections for leaks

Not sure if you know how punctuation works lol. No comma after transmission means "Automatic transmission fluid cooler hoses"

Please run your truck without fluid and take it in bone dry, and win the warranty case saying you didn't inspect the fluid level because they didn't put a comma in the maintenance manual. Read the entire text for the 30k service; if you had a brain, you'd be able to differentiate between "Inspect automatic transmission fluid (,) cooler hoses" and "Inspect transmission for signs of leakage".

Automatic transmission fluid cooler hoses and connections
Automatic transmission, fluid cooler hoses and connections

Basic English right here. These 2 phrases mean 2 different things, if you can't tell.

Now.... how is it listed in the manual... Get it now?

Call any dealer and ask. They will tell you phrase 1 is correct.

Oh I see, the Maintenance Guide tells me Automatic transmission fluid never has to be inspected; got it. Carry on
For any future readers, please refer to the Maintenance Guide for your specific truck anytime you have concerns; And just use common sense.
