    1997 Tacoma base with cold air and 5speed.
    I purchased a 2004 Tacoma ext cab with a 4 cylinder. I noticed the trans doesn't lock up?.
    It shifts smooth and the fluid is clean. The truck has 112k. What could block the unit from locking up? Temp is normal, I want to look at all options before I have the trans pulled.
