You didn't stick around long enough a few weekends ago. I'm sincerely sorry you missed the shenanigans I had in store for you.

Thas a lie. It was closer to 700. I have ticket stub #684 showing it was over 600.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
it's pretty effective to say you or a family member blew 600 guys...it'll definitely get attention.

We had 48 rolls of TP and 50 gallons of water just for your jeep. You guys were scheduled for the last ride and drive and we were going to make it a memorable trip for you!

We were even going to wrap the axles and driveshafts in TP if that gives you any indication of the level of commitment we had on this.

I already did. It did no good.

Later, I see a moderator call a member a dick.

I won't even bother any more, and I'm not sure why anyone else would either.

So I posted this earlier in another thread, but I thought I'd post it here too. I had my first experience this morning when I took my Tacoma in for the R-D cold start issue, which I am now reading in the forums is called "Delayed-Engagement". The dealer wouldn't even acknowledge the problem. I actually found out it was a widespread problem while sitting in the waiting room googling it on my phone. When I told him what the forums said he said "We don't work from google. We work from TSBs." Finally he told me to go home and wait till it gets so bad that it happens every time so they can see it happen. They of course know that will never happen. So what he really told me is "Just live with it." without actually saying it.

Here's the blog post I wrote on my personal blog hoping to get the attention of Toyota corporate offices if you want to read my whole story:
    http://www.thegeekpub.com/4922/toyota-transmissions-delayed-engagement/

I personally don't think this is a computer or software issue. I think its a sticking piston in the transmission, or a bad seal design that allows fluid to leak out overnight. Something expensive to fix that Toyota wants to avoid issuing a TSB for if they can.

I'd bet I'm in the top 3 most reported members on 3rd gen. I know my opinions of this truck are not popular.

No it don't. I found out TW is a jungle compared to coloradofans.com. They rule with an iron fist over there.

damn! surprised you're still here. on most forums you'd be long
gone after the repeated pokes at mods. Site I mod has 11million++
members and we ban for that crap without question.

You prefer I call him a big meanie head?

We deal with all kinds of BS on TW and we aren't snobby, uptight, better than anyone else moderators. We would rather not to rule the place with an iron fist, takes the fun out of the forum.
