    Hey guys I've been thinking about installing a transmission oil cooler on my Tacoma but I don't haul or anything so I was wondering if it'll be worth it??

    Also it is nice to get the trans fluid out of the radiator.

    That is reason enough to install a Aftermarket cooler

    Heat kills mechanical stuff. Heat is the major contributor to breaking down fluid. You have your answer but I just wanted to add that info for you or anyone that reads this in the future. Keep your transmission cool and keep regular fluid changes, it will last the lifetime of the truck.

    Just because you install an aftermarket cooler doesn't mean you reroute away from the radiator. It's good to have it heated in the radiator depending on where you live. Helps get the oil to operating temp.
