Transmission problems with 33s?

    I'm wanting to put 33 inch tires on my Tacoma with a 3 inh lift and someone told me I woudk run into transmission problems? Has anyone had this problem?

    The only issues that I've heard of is a lack of power from your motor trying to move the heavy ass tires. A common remedy is to regear from 3.73 to 4.10, or something along those lines. With that being said, a lot of people run 33s and don't regear and are fine.

    I have 255-85r16 with no issue. Speedo is off only a few mph at hwy speed.
