Hi there. I have an 06 Tacoma prerunner with the 5 speed auto trans. I had it flushed at 110000 miles. Here's where my problem comes in.... Whenever you go to take off it is jerking HARD coming out of first into second. You can the. Feel it shift as it goes into each gear. Not as hard but still noticeable. Toyota is saying I need a new tranny. Quote is 5000!!!!! I've never had to replace anything more than a tailight and cab filter in this truck and now I need a new tranny??? Any advice on what might be causing this would really help. Thanks in advance. It has 153000 on it now

Flushing kills trannys. Have a trans shop work on it. Not a stealership.

Find a reputable independent automatic transmission shop.
