    Can someone confirm that the plug in upper left area of the photo is the fill for the tranny? I've seen videos on different models but I'm not entirely sure where it is on my truck, and need to be sure I can fill it before I drain it.

    Yes, that's it. It will have "WS" stamped on it, although you probably can't see it until you remove it. You will need a 24mm socket, I recommend a 6 point socket over a 12 point. The head isn't very prominent and easy to round off with a 12 point.

    I have searched but cannot find an answer to this question. When changing the auto trans fluid, should it be warmed first or can I drain it cold?

    Should be a specific temperature. There is a procedure to put the truck into a mode that will flash the light when the trans is at the proper temp.

    Yeah, I'd want to have my shit pretty tight when I tackled that, car78412. However, I'm not much of a mechanic, but that never has seemed to stop me from working on things. Unfortunately.
