So, I was under the truck yesterday doing some maintenance and found these wires ripped off from the connector. I have been searching to figure out what is this sensor, but I haven’t had any lock. I got to find the schematic so I can connect the wire back to the plug. I have not driven the truck I don’t want to any damage to the Transmission.
    1999, Tacoma 3.4 Automatic tranny.

    Thanks in advance.

    What are the wire colors?

That is your transmission wire. Internally, it connects to your solenoids.

If you had to replace the connector itself, the wire would need to be replaced. Trans pan would have to be dropped to unplug it.

I can't think of anything else it would be since it's the only vertical connector. How it's running correctly with the wires pulled out... :notsure:

EDIT: Apparently, disconnecting that wire will disable automatic gear shifting.

zoom out on your pic a bit. Would like to see the rest of that side of the trans. Also if the wires are pulled out, where is the other end?

For reference (ignore that fuel line in the foreground, it's a breather line I added):

Right above it and to the right is the No.2 speed sensor (NOT the same as the vehicle speed sensor on the transfer case). The wires for the transmission wire should be wire taped to the speed sensor wiring.

Sorry guys, work got a little crazy.
Here is a picture from a little far out and a picture of the wires. I took the connector off to see if I could find any information.

Yea that's the connector for the transmission shift solenoids.

The body part number is 90980−10919
I'm not 100% sure but best I can come up with the terminal part number is 82998–12440

I bought the harness at a wrecking yard as I was told the that repairing it was not economically possible.

You can de-pin/repair pretty much any connector if it isn't broken and you have the right tools, used is usually cheaper if you can find one especially with Toyota because they don't sell pigtails and they are usually pretty proud of their connector bodies and terminals which are all sold separately.

You all have been of great help. Dm93, That's my plans to de-pin and crimp the wires. I just need it to know the wiring order. Thanks a lot for your help.
