I’ll try to be as specific as possible
    1. Check engine light comes on
    2. Diagnostic code is P0705 which is the transmission range sensor
    3. Lights on the dashboard that show what gear I am in sometimes light up and sometimes don’t. When they don’t, I can move the shifter back and forth a little bit and the light will come back on.
    4. Sometimes it will flicker.
    5. Truck will drive normally so far. At times the check engine light will also turn off.
    6. Truck has 437k on it.
    7. Question is if this is more the sensor, or wiring and connectors?
    8. Thanks in advance for the help.

The fact you can move the shifter to make the problem go away suggests it's the sensor itself. But unplug the sensor and look at the connector pins for corrosion first by all means.

    minor tweaks
    This ^^

IMO the light flickering and coming on when you manipulate the shifter is a smoking gun, sounds like the truck doesn't know where the shifter is at sometimes,
