    Has anyone heard about a problem with the automatic transmissions on the 09 Tacomas? Someone told me that there is going to be a recall because of "hard shifting" being experienced on Tacomas. Mine shifts a little harder than my wife's 06 4-Runner, but not that bad. I have an 09 4 door Tacoma.

    Timberland Mica 09 DBL CAB 4x4 TRD OFF ROAD
    TRD cat back exhaust, rain visors, limo tent on back pasenger windows and 35 percent added to back factory tint window. 35 on front driver and pasenger side. Sport pedals, all weather fl mats, roof rack, front skid plate , BFG ALL TERAINS including spare. ALL installed by dealer.

    Here is the TSB link attached you can print out and take it to the dealer. I have done it and my truck drives so smoothe now no problems. Check it out. A lot of other members have too.

    Thanks for the info. Just called my Toyota dealership and they don't know anthing about it. I printed off the TSB to show them.

    You are very welcome! I had to show it to my service guy too. Took an hour to fix. You will be glad you did.:)

    Yes, just a simple TSB. Mine took an hour, and I did not have an appointment. Drives much better!! Thanks Toyota.
