    I grew up in Agriculture. The point being I don't need to get in an internet dick measuring contest over someone who thinks a standard transmission is a requirement to declare a vehicle "real" truck.

    But the question is do you complain in every other thread about how your automatic transmission shifts automatically. If not then this thread was not directed at you.

    Talked to a guy on the Facebook page who is getting a whole new transmission from Toyota. His service techs actually addmitted it's a widespread problem with the fluid being low and the transmission hunting so much. First time I have heard of anyone admitting anything...

    I know of someone who successfully got Toyota to buy their 2016 back locally. I'm not saying that all the 2016s have a problem or that they are terrible trucks but Toyota does know they have a problem.

    This guy was also offered a manual 2016. He passed. He still didn't like it.
