Transmission shop recommendation near Oakland

I just got the call from Toyota Service department with their diagnosis of a bum transmission and quoted $3800 (plus tax on parts) for a Toyota remanufactured transmission installed.

I have a 2003 double cab TRD (v6 auto) that is stock with 160k miles. I have read a few threads on 5-speed manual swaps and am interested if there are any shops near me that would do it and certify their work for at least a few months (Toyota gives a 1-year warranty on their work and the remanu trans). I don't want to deal with this job myself currently as I can just work some overtime to cover the "savings" of buying the parts and doing it myself since I don't have shop space or the tools to do it.

Any recommendations? I want this truck to be solid since the frame, body, interior and everything is in great condition and I'll only be driving about 5k a year.
