Transmission slamming into drive or reverse. Shutter right after it shifts into second.

My 2013 TRD off road is shuttering right as it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. I’m also experiencing a slam when I shift it into reverse or drive when the vehicle is warmed up. I’m thinking torque converter but some folks have changed shifting solenoids as well. I’m just wondering if maybe because it’s only slamming when the vehicle is warm if that could be a tell that it’s something specific.

 

I know a number of years ago I had hard shifts in my 2014. Turns out there was a TSB for a reprogram from Toyota and it took care of the issue. Not sure if this is the same issue but worth you checking if your rig had that reprogram.

When my transmission was low on fluid it did similar things. When was the last time you changed the fluid?
