I followed what i believe was a 2019 sr5 access cab v6 yesterday, and tried best as possible to match its speed on this road as it was going slower than the speed limit. Noted a definite difference from his truck to mine as this road continued. Every time we came to a slight upgrade i was on his bumper, and had to brake. I didn't press down on my gas pedal at all either...just kept it steady. I'm guessing his truck didn't downshift as early as mine would, so he had some loss of speed going up these grade's. Otherwise no difference i could see.

    A few.
Feeling odd . Thats sounds more like driving with the ECT power button on where it wont shift to the next gear until u reach an certain speed regardless of driving conditions. I have a tune and cant say it feels odd when shifting

Yeah, driving around with ECT on really sucks with stupid long shift points, plus the engine gets noisier...not normal at all unless your probably towing something pretty heavy. IDk about a tune, but when in the D mode my truck feels the most normal.

I have not done anything to my Tacoma, it shifts and downshifts fine.
