    Based on what I've read, the advantage of the tru-cool is that it has a bypass built in. So why do I keep hearing that people are still bypassing the radiator (with a tru-cool) and losing the benefit of the radiator bringing the transmission up to temp quicker? Oh, and solely relying on a cooler that is undersized for the vehicle? Am I missing something here folks?

    Pink milkshake. People are worried about the radiator cracking and antifreeze mixing with trans fluid.

    That makes sense, however I interpreted that as primarily a 4runners issue. Is it more common in our trucks than is typically discussed?
