Gotta question for those in the know...I've had my '17 SR in for a couple of services now, and have asked the service writer if there were any TSB's/Recall's for my specific truck. Both times he said no.

Is the transmission TSB something that is generic for all automatic Tacoma's, or are there specific VIN's involved? I'm not having the transmission issues many are facing, but I'm still curious about this TSB.

A TSB is not treated the same as a recall. In order for a TSB to be applied you must show the symptoms outlined in the document.
Some dealers will do it if you ask, but some will actually try to reproduce the issue before applying it.
If you have no issues, then leave well enough alone.

u wish u could ride likes this.
