Got mine scheduled for 7:30am tomorrow. My dealership is about 12 miles away from work so I'll have a good little demo of the change both before and after. I'll post here as soon as I get back to work :)

My truck is an 08' with the same issue, my VDS is LU42N! Looks like I will be contacting my dealership to see if I can get the TSB also!

wonderful! I put in for an appointment tomorrow or Sunday. It says it addresses the downshift, I wonder if upshifting is affected as well?

    Didn't know what that was...thanks.

I'm an LU42N so I guess that includes me. I only notice the downshifting when I apply the brakes and I assume that is the Brake Assist kicking in.

I used to have the "transmission lag" when I would coast into corners and begin to accelerate. It would hesitate to upshift and the RPM"s would go way high before it finally shifted. That went away when I had my system reflashed about 6 months ago. Haven't had it happen since.

I'll still take it in...maybe I'm just not noticing the issue.

Anyone know what all is involved in fixing the problem? Is it just a reflash or are they reprogramming the system?

I assume it is nothing mechanical.

Also, is everyone just calling and stating that there is a TSB for this problem and the dealerships are confirming it? No fighting like we had to do with the Rear Spring TSB?

PM sent. I'm the only person in the thread with a grenaded pulley.

PS - It has nothing to do with the tranny tsb
