2010 tacoma v6 prerunner. Have 21000 miles. When should I flush the tranny fluid and antifreeze. Dealer said 100, 000. Sounds a little off.
    Thanks for any help.

The coolant used is the super long life antifreeze and should be good for 100,000 miles. The transmission fluid is another matter and you will get answers all over the place. The biggest thing is how you use the truck. I personally have never replaced the transmission fluid at less than 75,000 miles on any car / truck I have owned. I have also never had an issue due to this.

Unless you do a lot of towing or heavy loads or operate in dirty conditions you should be good at 100K miles.

Thank you for your reply. I guess I am just use to the good old days when you changed antfreeze every two years. That makes life easier. I know the trasmison is kind of a pain to flush, so I wll take your advice. Thank you again.

I haven't replaced my tranny or coolant fuid either and I'm at 122k miles. The truck still runs good. I also don't do any pulling or heavy work with the truck. I did change the rear differential oil a while back at about 119k miles and it came out clean, I replaced it anyhow.
