I bought my '05 Tacoma Access Cab in December of '04, and it now has over 85K on the tranny. I've looked thru the owners manual about this transmission and have found very little to nothing on how to change fluid. There's no place that I can see under the hood, to replace the fluid. Has anyone had this experience? Please advise.

    Thank you,
    JLS

    A few bolts are different.
welcome to TW from the east side of Tennessee. My 05 is pushing 65,000 miles with no tranny problems, but i'm pretty sure there are two nuts on the tranny itself, one up high to check the tranny oil and one down low to empty the oil.

Edit: may have spoke too soon, I was thinking of the Transfer case
