Who knows the truth, unfortunately people thought the tundra engines failing was a small number then look what that turned into…. Until Toyota issues an official statement/recall or tsb we’ll never know the true number

I do appreciate, despite the incredible inconvenience and frustration for those tundra owners, how this is being resolved by Toyota.

We owned a Hyundai. I don't think I need to say anymore about what kind of dog shit company that is when it comes to handling crappy engines and crappy vehicle design.

Oh your car has less theft protection than a Tupperware? Here's a $3.19 1980s edition club for the steering wheel. Have a nice day.

Oh your engine sounds like it's been filled with sand? Take it to your local dealer and they'll use a stethoscope to decide if it's truly trashed. And if it is, we'll think about helping you. Thanks.

There are probably more threads than transmission failures. And 20+ YouTube videos for each failure! Is it the end for the Tacoma? I think not.

The transmission fears had me worried but I still got one. 4k miles in and no issues, but i'm still babying it with every gear shift lol

I am the same way. Now with any new car/truck and social media one would never buy anything. The sky is falling and you might end up like Fred Flintstone on the side of the road with no wheels. People sit on the sidelines and bag on the new "whatever" but in reality it is no different then when that one was new. Always problems out of the gate. I would rather have something new with a warranty then something old without.

We bought the very first Wrangler JL. All sorts of gremlins. Bottom line find a good dealer nearby and just take it in if something is wrong.

All I know is I am enjoying the hell out of my new Tacoma with no problems and having fun modding it.
