A world of arrogance, suffering and general servitude. Oh, and a bit of helpful advice if you look in the right places.

The hierarchy here is complicated, the nomenclature complex, and the bullshit waist deep: I like it!

Now just to get my bikes mounted up all pretty...

Yes, I actually bought one of the first sold in NC way back in... '03? Thus my name, which I took at the time and has just followed me around since then. Dunno if I would like the wagon wheels for someplace like Boone (where I'd love to live, btw), but they're good for the XC stuff I do here in the flatlands.

If there's one thing I learned on MTBR, you don't have to ride to know all there is to know about riding.

Cool. Never could take the plunge away from a 26, but I like DJ and bombing a bit. Figured that may be the reason you were in a bike thread with that name.Did you used to live around here?

I was in Durham for several years. I really like 29 for SS -- especially rigid -- but never thought 29 was the ruler of all wheel sizes, as people tried to claim for a few years. And I haven't ridden a 27.5, nor will I: I can't go through and replace everything now, so I'm going to keep my head in the sand on that one.

Now I'm dreaming of western NC trails, dammit.

Least it's a spesh. Those things are pretty sweet.

    Sound enough reasoning for me.
Was going to head out to 181 this afternoon, but it's about to start dumping. Shit.
