What is the deal with all these campers today? I've never seen so much excess in my life. I'd like to get something that's around 22-25 feet long but I don't need all these gimmicky amenities that are included. I don't need a rickity dining table/sofa that folds down into a bed. I don't have kids. I don't need bunk beds adding weight and taking up square feet. I don't need a dishwasher. I have hands for that. Its not like campers are well known for high quality appliances anyways. Just more shit that will eventually break and its unnecessary weight. I'd rather have one badass leather couch, a pillowtop king mattress, and a really nice walk in shower. A wide open floor plan that way long term travel trailer living doesn't seem so cramped and confined. Enough floor space I could have a basic weight bench.

Seems like people who buy travel trailers will sacrifice a few really nice amenities in favor of a ton of lame mediocre amenities. Cram as much rarely used shit into the given available square feet and deal with feeling like the walls are closing in.

    check out my build
You might have better luck looking at an older TT

Most new ones are just like you described because that's what most people are looking for.

I thought about it but it would probably cost more with less shit in it than one fully loaded. Just because its "custom".

I guess I should look for a Jayco and gut it of all the crap. I would of course make sure everything looks neat like it came that way from the factory. No white trash special for me.

Maybe a small toy hauler. It has an open floorplan and they tend to be pretty spartan, but they do have a balance issue.
If you are not hauling bikes/quads, the tongue weight can get pretty high unless you always travel with the water tank empty.

Get one of these fully aluminum toy haulers. I have one with tip out queen bunks, but this guy fabricated a drop down frame for a huge regular mattress. These trailers are very light, and nice toilet and full shower.

Guessing that's a Living Lite Toy Hauler. Which model is it? If we buy another camper, it will be a Toy Hauler.

Yes, it is. Not sure what model, but I'm guessing a 7' wide one.
