    Good Morning Peeps,

I have to go to a conference in Anaheim in October. I'll be staying close to the Convention Center during the conference, however my Wife and oldest child are going to fly out and meet me so we can go to Disney/Universal Studios.

I need some help on where to stay that would:

A: Be in the middle of both
B: Be in a safe area

    Thanks for the help!

Try double tree in commerce, rooms usually are 160 a night, but being summer.

Holiday inn in la Miranda I off the 5 freeway.

Edited my comments....just remember at the Doubletree if you want a fridge you need to request it.

Trying to think of other hotels co-workers stay at when they come to los Angeles

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Budget?

If you're near the Anaheim Convention Center you're a stone's throw from Disneyland (I used to live a drunken stumble from both). Universal is going to be a drive if you average the two and the need to be near any of them.

So I think we figured it out. We are going to stay a day longer in the hotel near Disney (and my conference) and then go to DL the next day. Then that night drive up towards US and stay a couple of days. I am looking for a Hilton property hotel, so I can use my points.

Good choice! Hilton hotels can be damn expensive but they alao can be damn nice. Hope you enjoy your stay!

There is a Hilton at Universal Studios. I have only been there to work celebrity events in the ballrooms. Have never seen the rooms.

There is also a Hilton Garden Inn down the street in Hollywood but it's in a very congested part of Highland Blvd. I would steer clear of that location.
