TRD 16’s - Which model/year did these come on?

I scooped up a set of these 16” TRD wheels today for my 2008 4Runner Sport. It comes with 17’s stock.



The back wheels went on good but the fronts hit the caliper.

Read online people downsize to the SR5 caliper but no one has pics of this.

Did these come on Tacomas? Because the calipers on the 4Runner look exactly the same to the ones on my 21’ TRD sport.

Trying to cross reference what parts I can retrofit to make them work.

Did some more searching and supposedly these do fit Tacomas no problem.

I’m suspecting the 4Runner front calipers are bigger diameter since they’re on a heavier vehicle. Going to test fit on my Tacoma tomorrow just for knowledge.

 

Of course they fit Tacoma’s, these used to be the stock Pro wheels…
