    All he did was NOT paint the outer bead ring of the rims..... Therefore when a tire tool touches the rim, he doesn't have damage to the painted finish

    I'm doing the same to my OR rims but gonna leave some more areas factory finish

    Oh, that stripe. Yup, that is exactly what I did. For that reason and because of the wheel balance pieces as well.

    I just have the balance weights installed on the backside of rim......then you never see them....l;)
