There is a 4runner with a 3.4 and TRD super charger for sale at reasonable price. Will the supercharger come off the 4runner and bolt on to my 2004 3.4 V6 Tacoma? Are there any pitfalls or missing parts that I should be aware of? Anything I should check on a test drive?

Direct fit. The unit is pretty bullet proof, if it makes grinding noises it's bad. If he doesn't have a boost gauge I'd suggest bringing one and checking the boost level as that is a direct representation of its health. Depending on the pulley: stock 5-7 psi, 2.2" 6-9 psi, 2.1" 8-12 psi. You'll also want some type of fuel compensation for it. I'd recommend methanol injection. Do some research on it. A stage one kit should be adequate for low boost and will run around $200.
