    Just received a call from the dealer I ordered the skid plate from. He told me the TRDSHIP coupon probably won’t be valid and he’s going to call me back with an actual shipping charge because even the 27$ allotted for shipping probably isn’t enough since the skid is “so heavy”.

    No way they're solid, and for the price of $240 right now they're a smoking deal.

    I tore up the shitty OEM skid plates on my first offroad trip they folded like tin. Been running a TRD skid plate for 2 years now and beat the absolute shit out of it and its held up great.

    Buying a new one because for $240 why not, plus now I'll get the cool red lettering :)

    Figure I could sell my used one in a couple weeks for $150-$200 anyways and get most of my $ back

    WOW, if that is the case then I'm not paying $10 to ship a knob. That is the real crime here.

    Let's do some math, that knob probably costs $5 to make in China, marked up to $100. $95 profit. Toyota can't eat $10? GTFO, they already stole 30k lol.

    They need to make sure their systems/coupon codes are correct before a big sale like this. Especially with them being an established company. I could understand if a code slipped through for an up and coming small business, but not Toyota. Push back on that free shipping, I would.

    Me too, not all of us are blessed to live next to a dealer that supplies parts. I held off on buying the wheels for $800 because of the price, $100 shipping which is basically burning money to me, is not worth those wheels.

    Let's make a 40% off sale on "TRD" products, which i'm going to assume are people who like adding/modifying their rigs. Better expect high traffic.
