    Just a heads up:

    I purchased a TRD shift knob from Toyota for my 19' Limited, it was about 95 dollars (I own a repair facility so I get parts wholesale, not sure what they retail for). I received it and its nice but not a day later this comes up in my ad feed on my chrome book;

    https://www.amazon.com/Qnbes-Automa...94e-4b90-ad18-5f736837b8f1&pd_rd_i=B08N6MB5TV

The only difference I see is it doesn't say "TRD" on the backside, which you cannot even see anyway. If you're interested in one and don't care about the logo you might want to try one of these. I wish I had seen this before, for 35 bucks I would have tried it.

I would actually prefer one without the TRD lettering. Seems like a good find

Ive personally had only the OEM pro knob but also saw these on Amazon and eBay. Some of them get pretty good reviews so probably worth a shot

It is a nice little mod, gives the shifter a much more rugged appearance and feel. The stock leather covered knob wore pretty fast so we'll see how this one holds up!

    Oh look, another mod....
Ha. What great timing. I've had this very thing in my Amazon basket for a few days. I saw the $95 one and noticed the only difference was the TRD lettering. It barely was noticeable. So I'm opting for the $35 one. I can't justify spending $50+ just for three letters that nobody will notice.

Having seen both the oem and knockoff knobs, the difference is not just the "trd" lettering, the oem knob has real leather, heavier, and uses different higher quality plastics.

However if you've never seen the oem one, the Amazon special ones would be more than adequate.

This was the same thing when I was comparing the OEM Trd skid and the faux. The quality is definitely different across the board, but for some it may not be worth the extra cost :)

I just did the meso custom stealth shift knob with the ect relocate . I do say the TRD version doesn't feel beefy

I got a few from Alibaba for $25 each, very nice quality and they had the TRD in red already on it.

    That's a decent price.

I opted for the OEM one...because I've purchased several items from PrestigeToyota in NY and the parts guy provides great order status service!

Got it for $89.25 and Lou (parts guy) gave me a coupon for the shipping ($17.95). Total price was the $89.25.

I'm happy with the purchase...but you guys keep finding these deals for everyone!

Someone shared the link on here last year, so I ordered a few. It was a gamble hoping the TRD would come be in red and yea I lucked out.

I just came here to rag on 4th gen. I hope the shifter is modeled after that slide whistle 4x4 selector found in the 3rd gen Tundra.

FWIW the urethane knob has been going strong for 10 years in my 2G.
