TRD/Aluminum Battery Hold Downs

installed, had to use a spacer. Instead of using washers i used a rubber bushing from lowes. Now i just need a good ole engine bay bath

 

Does it feel solid?

 

Yea it's solid and no metal on metal

 

I used a felt washer on mine just to prevent metal on metal, and it's super solid as well.

 

I finally have mine installed... fit & finish is supreme. Great work Coupe.

 

What group size is your Northstar battery? Is that a group 35?

 

It says 35 on top of the battery.

 

Yes it's a 35.
The hold down bracket fits it like a glove.

 

I see that now. I was curious because he was able to mount without washers/spacer on the front side. The 35 is a little shorter than the 24F. Not by much though.

One (1) of the textured black with machined TRD.
Two (2) of the raw aluminum with TRD.
Two (2) of the raw aluminum with NO TRD.

I have two (2) of the raw aluminum with NO TRD that I am going to powdercoat with the textured black, but they will not be ready for a week or so.

Installed mine last night and I couldn't be happier! I've been wanting a new battery hold down that actually fit for years and not only does this fit but it looks awesome doing it! High quality mounting hardware included! Highly recommend this upgrade!! Thanks Coupe!

For anyone not having the pleasure of owning one of these yet, I'll mention that they have adjustable blocks on the bottom that give your battery a tight fit, unlike the stock hold down. All the hardware is insulated with rubber.

 

Any news on these being able to buy????
