    TRD axle swap
Successfully swapped a 2004 TRD elocker rear axle onto my 1998 sr5 3.4 tacoma 4x4. The gear ration was the same(4:10) and transplanted quite easily. One of the inner axle rods off the '04 was damaged due to rollover but easily replaced with '98s inner axle rods and brake drums for a full revovery. Unfortunately we discovered my rear u joint housing as almost fully rusted away. Anyways, I only post this because I couldn't find very much on this specific of a transplant and just want to confirm with others that it is possible to mix and match and end up with a well oiled working machine.
