TRD beadlock wheels are still in production, new part number

They are Toyota rims and the lug nuts were in the each box for each rim.

 

These are the TACO ALLOY USA made versions and you got nuts with them? Where did you get the center caps from?

Who ever had these wheels had the Center Caps custom made. Here is the description from the listing on eBay.

 

Why in the world are these being sold new without the center caps. Strange.

Interesting. The way the is worded makes me think the lug nuts are aftermarket not OEM, but who knows

 

They came with the spline socket or whatever you want to call it. Everything was in sealed plastic bags, except the caps were already in the wheels. I have no complaints. Took the boxes to the tire store today, and had them mounted and everything was there. They put the old wheels in the boxes so now I have a set of 2003 tundra wheels and stock tacoma wheels to get rid of.

 

The original Beadlocks did not come with wheel lug nuts, locks, or tools.

 

I remember that. You had to buy the lugs separately.

 

Seems like the new ones aren't as expensive as people are claiming if they come with everything now.

I have yet to see Toyota TRD locks blacked out.

 

They lugs are probably after market. All I can tell you is they were in the boxes sealed up with the wheels, like it all came from the factory. The spline socket is chrome. The caps looks good too. Who ever did them, did a good job. There must be other OEM Toyota wheels that use those same caps I guess. For some one to recreate the ones that came on these wheels before.

 

@tejastacoma - Curious if the back of the bead rings have slots/channels to allow for water to escape?

 

I did not look. They put the rings on for me too, when they mounted the rims on my old tires. Discount Tire here in Texas has absolutely seen these wheels many times.

 

They do sell them now a set of grey 1334 and shipping is 120.70 it includes everything centercaps,outerlip,and 48 bolts it’s says it’s no longer the old version the ones I have which has the uk sticker hmmmm

 

It also states it’s made by trd for Toyota and it’s made out of low pressure cast aluminum aren’t the old version made out of bbs or forged??

 

No, the "old" ones are not forged. The 6-lug 4Runner and 5-lug Tundra TRD Rock Warrior wheels are forged.
