For what it’s worth, the OEM TRD lug nuts are just McGard spline drive lugs and locks.

I have the OEM TRD lugs, but when you open and register the key, it’s a McGard piece.

Thanks, man. I appreciate it. Tbh, I'm a bit of a brand whore and went with the trd version from Elmhurst. But I'm sure others will find a ton of value in this information. Thanks for the heads up, buddy.

I get it. I had TRD lugs for both my sets on both trucks, but if people wanted an option Toyota didn't have in stock at present but wanted something that meets the quality of the OEM piece (I get sketched out on some of the no-name lugs), it's a quick and dirty solution.

Absolutely. I get it. I had the same issue with my 13. I wanted the trd supercharger kit that went out of production and not the Magnuson. Same damn thing, but it didn't say trd. Total turn off and the only reason I didn't buy it. To each their own. Thanks again for the info.

Same with their mag style lug nuts. The wheel lock key has a McGard information card.

I have not heard back. I was able to source the screws from another dealer. They should deliver tomorrow.

bummer that you had to pay for it out of pocket.

My wheels are on the truck and out for delivery. I'll check back once they do. I really hope mine aren't missing screws!

Edit: Just noticed that the box says these are made in Mexico

Here is my contribution thanks to this thread. All of mine came with the screws for the ring @lsr78. They were in the corner of each box.

Just excellent. The dealer sent me four bolts, not four sets of 12 as designated by the part number.

I am an idiot evidently. I dug back through the box and I found the screws. No idea how I missed them the first time. I removed the wheels completely from every box and looked around when I got them. They were kind of lodged under the bottom of the box and I found all four sets.

Probably exactly the same as the old! No difference other than part number and location of origin. But yeah, maybe someone who recently bought them can put them on a scale!

I could have done this at work today but I brought the wheels home with me today for install tomorrow. I might be able to weigh one during my lunch.

Shipping weight with wheel/ring/screws/ cardboard box shown on UPS site as 30 lbs for 3 boxes and the 4th box with the caps + wheel locks/ lugs showed on the site as 34 lbs.

This scale is not calibrated but when I check my weight the same day I go to the doctors, the scale in the doctors office shows me 2 lb heavier.

Wheel/ ring/ screws with 'protectors' still on.
