TRD beadlock wheels are still in production, new part number

How long have they been ordered?

 

I placed the order on March 13th.

 

Got tracking info for 5 center caps this morning.

 

You ordered on March 22nd? Six weeks ain’t bad! Thinking hard!

 

They came in. Now I need to order my fn wheels.

 

How about we swap, I’ll send you my FN centers, you send me the Toyota caps!

 

Nah, I'm good. I do kinda like the white wheels though.

 

These were delivered today...

 

So now you're gonna post 'em on ebay for $1000, right?
It seems like everyday I get a notification of some new ebay auction for these caps at some insane price.

 

It appears the new version of the new version of the TRD center caps have opaque body like the OG version.

I guess that means the new version of the TRD center caps with a black body are now collectibles.

 

I'm just surprised these center caps are unobtainium. Elmhurst Toyota must have some kind of connection.

 

I also just received the caps from my local TOYOTA Dealer, I bought the wheels around 2 months ago, and was told the caps were not available even though it says they are included on their website. So earlier this week I saw an email saying parts being sent my way and sure enough they are the CAPS! I am surprised in a good way since I was not expecting them to be available this soon.

 

Elmhurst Toyota still shows 33 center caps in stock. Nobody else seems to have them. Except Fleabay...

When I emailed the them about a two I saw in their inventory they said there is a long list that will get filled in order, but it seems they were expecting another shipment in. That was last month! Those Mexicans must have ramped up production!

 

I'm good with the 5 I have. I went ahead and cancelled the order from my local dealer. Never did get an eta from them. I think Toyota will continue to make them as long as the demand is there for large orders.

 

Also since they still sell the wheels that require them!

 

I ordered another 5. It's a bit like those cereal box prizes, gotta collect them all.

 

How long was delivery after you ordered?

 

About 2 months.

The parts department at my local dealer never cancelled the order despite telling me they would. I originally ordered around the beginning of March I think and these showed up end of April. They called today and asked if I still wanted them. I said yes and I got them this afternoon knowing I could always resell them.

I believe Elmhurst still has 50 or so. I still recommend ordering from Elmhurst.
