Any idea if 285's with this wheel on a 3rd gen PRO would fit with no rubbing? I can't remember what the wheel specs are for the 3rd gen PRO but lots of guys run those wheels with 285's.

Yes you need to remove the rings. Do it before you drop them off.

Per two of the tire shops I use, you do not need to remove the rock rings for tire R&R.
You need the rings installed for a proper balance.

Anyone have a good link for these? Most of what I find requires a vin for purchasing unless it’s $500 more from somewhere.

Any particular color you're looking for? That is strange if they are asking for a VIN for these wheels. I found a price on-line, checked with my local dealer (Oregon), and they matched the price. They did have to order them but only took a week or so.

Here's a few links I found. Interesting that some places say "no longer available" for either the bronze, black and gray. It's hit and miss as to what is in stock. Wonder if supply is low or they have stopped making them? You're right, some places are charging almost $500 each :facepalm:I didn't list those links.
World OEM Toyota Parts This site looks like they have all three in stock and best price I could find. Good luck!

Toyota's main site says no longer available for sale:
    https://parts.toyota.com/p/69529043/PTR1835090GR.html

I wonder if most of the websites that still have them either have a few in their back rooms or just don't have the website updated. I ran into this all the time with GM products for my Vette. I'd have a part number for a specific item, order it and then get a call that it was no longer available. It's a shame that they're going out of production. They're a great wheel.

I've got a 5th wheel in a box as a backup just to be safe.

EDIT: As an exploratory exercise I went to see if you could still fit these onto a new Tacoma build on Toyota's website. The black wheels are still a listed option, so I don't know how that will or wouldn't work.

Thanks for this! I tend to lean toward black wheels even though they are hardest to keep clean. I will also consider the bronze, since my 2017 TRD Sport 4x4 is white. I started going into depth searching and found a few. I was trying to save but based on these going out of production, I probably have to buy them sooner rather than later. I would not pay $500 each though.

I hope the supply picks back up, but this would explain why a lot of places say you need a vin because this is only a replacement item.

Just found this thread, love these wheels and all the pics only confirmed it. Just gotta find 3 more bronze for my AG OR...

Anyone reuse the stock OR tires on these? Gonna get new tires down the road that are a bit beefier but wanna get the most out of the stock tires to soften the blow on the wallet...

That looks great  Nice subtle touch.
I painted my rings and clear coated them. Been a few years and they have held up great.
