Just thinking out loud here so be easy on me. LOL! Curious to see how these wheels would look with a Beadlocker? Aftermarket add on style. Any thoughts? Can it be done? My '16 will be here in a couple weeks and I've already ordered a slew of aftermarket goodies. Can't decide on wheels yet.

I am confused as those are not the Beadlocks? And you are mentioning a TRD Beadlock

Just a bunch of old crap
So you're looking to do fake beadlocks on these rims? o_O Don't be that guy. If you want beadlock rims, get beadlock rims. Real ones.

I'd so NO. Hell I've seen many here who have the TRD bead-lock wheels and they
removed the ring and it ended up looking pretty good without it.

The picture I posted is of the wheel in question. I realize they would not be real beadlocks. Real beadlocks are illegal in my state. I was thinking a fake bead lock for the sole purpose of protecting the wheel face against scratches, etc. it would be easy to remove and refinished when I got looking trashy versus dismounting the tire and all that hassle.

I get what your trying to do and I think adding a full weld on beadlock would look pretty cool. Let me find the company that does them. Just be cautious of who you have do the welding to make sure that they are done right.

To mount fake beadlock rings, you'd have to first find beadlock rings that would fit with the holes lining up on the very limited lip of the wheel. Then you would need to drill and tap the holes perfectly and hope they don't interfere with the tire since this rim wasn't designed for the use of beadlocks. Way too much trouble if you ask me, but have a go at it and let us know how it works out.
