    If they are demanding an FJ vin before they order them, thats cool, you can beat them at their own game. All you do is walk out on the dealers lot and write down a vin number from an FJ and take it to parts, also works at a mall parking lot or whenever you see an FJ.

    Remember its all about sales and customers opinion for a dealership, thats their bread and butter, I am sure if one dealer does not help you get what you want there is another one down the road or in the next town over that will.

    It isn't just any FJ. It's the special edition one. A little harder to find. I doubt they'd clear one that's still sitting on the lot. I'll just try sparkstoytota when I get home. If not, I'd be just as happy with some other aftermarket rims.

    i actually was able to get a set of 5 of these this week. to the person that originally started this thread;

    what size are the tires on your black trd wheels? i am looking at these...

    BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO;
    Size: 265/75R16
    Load Range: D

    i am also trying to figure out whether or not load range D or E would work best? any thoughts would definitely help.

    thanks.

    tires are stock size 265/70/16. I was going to go 75, but I got a deal I could pass up with the 70's.

    i was actually able to get them from the following link:

    http://shoptrd.com/partlocator/inde...nfo&PartID=766344&siteid=213860&catalogid=200

    however, i basically had to beg this guy to sell them to me and he was able to find 5 at a dealership in washington state. it cost me a total of $900 with shipping to virginia for 5 wheels, not a bad deal i guess...

    not sure if they would fit on a 1st generation tacoma, but i know they will fit on the 2nd generation ones.

    i'll post pictures within the next month!

    All 16' FJ wheels measure: 16"X7.5" / 15MM OFFSET / 4.5” backspacing.

    TRD Off-Road wheels are: 16X7JJ / 5.25 backspacing / 32 mm Offset with a 6X5.5 bolt pattern.
