So they feel justified having a 2nd gen.

I have a second Gen and have no intent on getting in getting a 3rd gen so I guess it has a car engine...

The 3rd lost .5 in displacement so now it's a 3.5 litre engine. The Camry also has a 3.5 litre V6 so some people assume that's it's a car or girly motor. No official. No official Specs have been released yet but people have already decided on the motors performance.

You can't pay attention to the size of the e/g, I've run this in the test cell & it is NOT your granny's e/g. More hp, more torque, 2 fuel line feeds (with better gas mileage), it will be a better e/g.

All bolt ons + tuning solution. Capable of running high 13's.
    That sucks bad.
I hope that someone can break into this new Tacoma ECU and offer a tuning solution.

That will open up the aftermarket and third party s/c will star to show up.

The Rado and Canyon V6 engines have two s/c kit in the works.

I have a 3.5 V6 in my F150. Of course, it's fed by two turbos, and is pushing close to 400HP and 500 lb/ft of torque at the crank.

Do not be surprised if the new Tacoma 3.5L is boosted for the 2019 Tundra.... With comparable numbers to Fords Eco-Boost.

Nah. It's not too bad at all. Actually I was getting shit for mileage on my lifted, and armored rig until I threw the blower, really woke it up and now I get better than what I did before, not that it was ever good and I should expect much anyways, but I digress.

I mean really, Toyota should go small engine, but boosted of some sort, similar to Ford's Ecoboost F150. It's where the change is headed towards on trucks now. It's well proven that small engine's can respond very well to boost if it is designed correctly. They sure would give Ford a run for their money too.

Toyota already said they don't plan to Turbo vehicles because the real world MPG just isn't there.

    Which is not overly true.

3.5 ecoboost is marginally better than the Tundra.

The 2.7 ecoboost destroys the 4.6 tundra.

We should petition Eaton or whoever made the trd sc to keep making them under their brand name instead of trd.
