TRD blower for the 3rd gen's 3.5L

It was a joke MAN!!!!!!

 

I think it might generate enough PSI to blow maybe a dead leaf or two from your driveway.

 

Because the 2007 Camry boasted the 2GR-FE, 6cy, 3.5L, Automatic... that engine is a beast... same engine was used in Lotus brand around the same timeframe. Except Lotus had the 2GR-FE, 6 spped manual, with also a Toyota Tranny. Toyota would not put the 6-peed manual in 2GR-FE Camry. I had one... I tried! I ended up turboing the engine... custom... the only one in the US at the time... got 399 FWHP! (Front wheel HP!)... factory specs for that engine is 500HP at the fly wheel... i burned up 4-6 gears in the auto transmission... had to replace the transmission and add a trasmission fluid cooler. That engine also had a supercharger built for it in Australia (TRD AURION). Probably the best 6cy engine Toyota built besides the 2JZ that came with the Supra in the 90s.

 

Maybe an onboard air compressor for boost on the car engine

That looks pretty good. Plenty of room behind the grill for a bigger inter cooler.

 

Usually any stuff from HKS is top quality and comes with a premium price. It's a great setup compared to root style blower TRD and Magnuson carries with more horsepower potential. It runs like a turbo but is still belt feed. Also less issue of heat soak compared to the root style blowers.

 

Is it compatible with our engines ,,?
