Picked up a turd gen finally last week and had some Rigid SR-Qs laying around that i was planning on using for something so i came up with the idea of flow mounting them in the pro grille...

so lets get into the process of what i did.

    Part 1:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/302693428094

Buy a china pro grille, i got this guy off ebay for $150 and shipped in 3 days and arrived perfect condition and plenty of protection, should be getting the letters here the next day.

    Part 2:

    https://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/925223

Use the rubber gasket that comes with the SR-Qs kit and layout where you want them to go, as you can see there isnt much room to play with.

what i did was just center the gasket vertically and then lined up the edge of the gasket with a vertical line around the main center section of the grille.

    Part 3:
Now for the fun cringey part, start hacking up a perfect good pro grille.

pretty simple to do with a basic dremal. to cut one site out took me about 15 minutes maybe. sorry i forgot to take pictures of the fully trimmed opening.

    Part 4:
Trim your lights to fit real snug so edges don't peak out from the sides. The inside of the gasket works perfectly for a template but does move when your trying to trace it out.

Dont mind the gap on the outer edges of the light, this will be snugged down when you fully tighten down the bolts.

Part 5: repeat to the other side.

    Finished Pictures:
Haven't seen this done before but i think it looks pretty good, wished i had got some midnight edition but could be easily switched out for different colors, light patterns, or even SRMs.

    Enjoy

Need a light bar in the empty space in the middle.

i have a couple rigid 10s laying around but there was too big of a gap on either side, but also too small to cleanly fit pods on the outsides, just gonna use the normal letters that come with it

Creativity at its finest right here, props to you brother for being different! But since you’ve shared it, you won’t be unique for long haha!

Westin makes a steel grille that has light bars like you have and also one in the middle, don't know how much it costs though

If you want to go full bro, you could stick a light bar behind the "Toyota" in the grille

I think it looks good, maybe even better if the Toyota letters were blacked out!?And the mount screws blacked out.

Originally I was gonna put one in place of the letters and not have the SRQs or the 32 but nothing fit inside it correctly so I went this route. Pretty happy how it came out. Only a couple other things then the truck will be done
