    Where can i get the old TRD CAI from? Everywhere i have checked they are not selling it anymore. I realize the aFe is just about the same but i want the TRD version. The part number is PRT05-35061

    I got mine used. You just have to keep an eye out. If I wanted an intake now I'd go for the AFE. Same crap. Same 5 horsepower gain.

    But which aFe would be the same as the TRD? There is a few different one to choose from.

    Gadget claims a few extra horsepower with the plug out. I would only pull the plug if I was on a track. Other than that it would always be in.

    So it actually comes with a plug to make it exactly like the TRD? And is a dry or oil filter better?

    Yes it has a plug. Dry is easier to maintain but oil will capture a bit more dirt. It is up to you.

    Not much but sounds like they give better throttle responce.

    The only change I noticed was more noise at WOT. TRD says 11hp @ 4850 RPM and 19.0tq @ 3600 RPM increase. I don't believe it.
