TRD Decal Placement

To account for the bulge in the body lines. The body lines bulge out more as you go toward the cab, less toward the tailgate. When looked at from the side, it will appear level with the bed rail cap, when these measurements are used.

If you were to just go with the same distance from the top of the bed cap, on the front and rear of the decal, it would look crooked.

As for why the measurements are different from side to side, I think it's because of the arrangement of the letters in relation to the body lines.

 

Old thread.. but does anyone have the horizontal dimensions?

 

Trying to revive and old thread, does anyone have this for a first gen TRD Offroad? Or able to provide measurements for the decal locations? Thanks
