I have a 2011 tacoma 4 X 4 sport, so no electronic locking differential. I drive on the beach a lot so that is why I want a locking rear differential. Does anyone know what I would have to do to change it to a electronic locking differential? Does it have the wiring already there, so all I would have to do is add the switch and change some components in the axel? Please assist with your input?

It won't fit in your axle housing without major modification. Your rear axle has a larger opening and bolt pattern for the rear diff. It takes some welding and grinding and fitting but it has been done.

Just put an ARB air locker in there

Hey Grantman, How is the TRD supercharger? Do you feel it is worth the money? Sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread.

I agree, it would be easier to put an ARB air locker in there.

Can't just keep it in 4hi and lower down the air pressure? Y use a rear locker for it? Unless your climbing dunes
