Its odd really as when i removed the intake so i can double check all my injector seals and harness i put it all back together and it started right up and ran until i shut it off. Then its doing the same thing again, Wants too but just doesn't. But i will check the compression. I did put new plugs in it and the old ones still looked fine. No signs of anything peculiar. Its a JDM engine with 40k but who knows? The old engine was burning oil so i just thought of it to check the catalytic converters? Thanks for everyone's input as its very much appreciated.

For what it’s worth, the long block is a different part number between TRD Off Road and non-TRD Off Road, specifically due to the camshaft ball and block off plate being installed or not.

I’m assuming you’re referring to the partial engine assembly part numbers?

Yes i got around the vacuum pump and plugged the cam end and then with the block off plate? I read that's all you needed to do unless I'm missing something? Everything is same as far as i know?

just a heads up it looks like you put your home address in the vehicle description of your profile so it’s showing to everyone.

Yes initially for rail pressure. But, looked at everything else and missed the pins inside the connector. It came on the engine and never thought to replace as it looked ok on the outside and the plug clipped right in. Its running like a champ now. Thnx
