Courtesy bump. If you have a manual transmission these sound SO good once properly broken in. By broken in, I mean when you get them so hot you wrinkle the case. I know from experience, I've run one for 72,000mi.

Great price for what you get.

 

Bump. Not going to ship. I offered to deliver or have it dropped off by a friend and got ghosted. That was over 1400 miles away. For free. Nerve of some people. So now pick it up in VA. I’m done trying to be a nice guy.

We won’t talk about the tool that offered me 150 bucks.

 

Anybody know if this will fit a shortbed dbl cab 2.5 gen?

I'm guessing it would be pretty close given the 2nd & 3rd gens ride on the same frame

 

Hey just a thought maybe cut it and sell the muffler and tip separately. That way it would be cost effective to ship.

I bought a TRD exhaust and just wanted the muffler (perfect sound for me) so the seller cut it and shipped it. I re-used my stock tailpipe.

He sold the tip to someone else who just wanted the look.

 

It will not fit 2nd gens as a direct bolt on.
That being said anything can fit with modification know-how but it’s probably more trouble than it’s worth in this case.
You should be able to find a new 2.5 Gen TRD exhaust for less than $400, I think I got mine on sale for $320.00.
Shop around, there are some great deals out there.

I’m surprised this hasn’t sold yet, this is an easy DIY mod and the TRD exhaust sounds great!

Here’s why it hasn’t sold:

6 responses. One asked if I’d ship. I was traveling across the country and offered to deliver it. 1200 miles away. For free as I was going through St Louis. Then got ghosted.

One response offered $120.

Another response talked a good talk. After all was said and done wanted to trade for it.

Another wanted it shipped. Replied that I could meet halfway. Responder didn’t want to drive 75 miles. Wanted me to bring it to him. I’m not a delivery service. Not driving 300 miles to be a nice guy, as I was asked to do.

Another offered up front to trade. Didn’t need/want the trade.

Another asked what part of Virginia and never responded.

And then got another response asking if I’d take 160 for it and would I deliver it. WTF.

I’m going to leave it up for about another 2 weeks. Then I think I’m going to see what 408 Cheytac rounds do to it.

 

Have you posted on FB marketplace?
Anything less than $350 will sell in record time. For each hundo you add to that you’re going to have to wait a bit more. But still, FB marketplace is probably your best best to sell quickly.

 

can confirm. I found mine on FB for $250 less than 3 hours after it was posted. I told him he undersold himself too.

Did you already use this as target practice?
Is this the same as the catback exhaust from a trd pro?

Update. Military buddy of mine is taking a contract job at Warren AFB in Cheyenne Wyoming. He is willing to take the exhaust with him and if you want it you can meet him along the route.

Will be leaving Virginia on the 13th of April.

Route is I64 west to St. Louis.
I70 west from St. Louis to Kansas City
I29 from Kansas City to Lincoln
I80 from Lincoln to around Sidney NE.
