    AWorthyOpponent...Thanks for mentioning the filter. I finally received the AFE Pro Dry S that I ordered and installed it today. It does make a definite difference in sound. I actually think that it made it a bit quieter! I'm not sure I like that...I was just getting used to the sound before the filter!!!:D The sound is now a bit smoother and I also think that the throttle response has improved as well. Of course this could just be the placebo effect...but I don't think so! My ears are a lot happier now...thanks again...rep for you!

    One last comment...I didn't realize the AFE Pro Dry would be so much shallower than the OEM filter...can't help but think that it won't protect as well! Oh well...I think I'm just looking for something else to bitch about since I'm done belly aching about the exhaust! :D
