    Good morning Guys,

I am not sure if anyone knows this but the TRD exhausts for the 2nd gen Tacoma's are made by Bosal. I was poking around there site to see if the have anything for the 3rd gen and found the "Raw" TRD exhaust on their site for $311. Now granted, from Bosal, it does not come with the nice TRD tail piece or anything, but I would consider fitting that to my truck for $300. Here is the link, enter your trucks info and check it out, and hope this helps some.

    http://www.qcsonline.net/bosalb2b/products/

Edit: I see they list this exhaust for models only up to 2012 but all the way to 2015 should be the same. Also, the Bosal site does not mention anything about it being or not being a TRD exhaust. I do know the TRD exhaust I had on my 2010 was made by Bosal for it was stamped in the metal and I noticed this right away because Bosal exhausts originated in South Africa... But oh well, maybe needs some more digging but hope it helps.

Part numbers are different for all the years. Whether it is long bed or short bed, and the years for some reason changed the design.

I believe Borla supplied TRD exhaust for 2005-2012
    And Bosal for 2013-2015

The main difference in the Stock vs TRD is the muffler...at least on the 2015, the pipe sizes are the same for both with the TRD muffler being about 1/2 the diameter of the stock set up...oh, yeah, the TRD gives you that annoying moan if you have a double cab that doesn't seem to be there if you have an access cab.....Driveability seems about the same with either one, and mileage was identical with both, though I only put about 1200 miles on the TRD before I yanked it off and put a stock set on.

How do you like the sound of the exhaust? Any drone?

I absolutely LOVED the TRD exhaust, it gave the truck a more aggressive grunt if you want to call it that, it wasn't obnoxiously loud and there was absolutely no drone anywhere in the cabin. It was fairly quiet if your just cruising along but once you got a little deeper in the throttle it sounded really good.
