it’s really not hard to install, I did it in about an hour. People with experience could probably do it in 30min

Just gotta keep looking man. The deals are out there. Just gotta be patient.

I have the trd exhaust and it was worth every bit of my 250 bucks. I like the sound. I like the looks.

The guy I bought it from hated the sound of the pro exhaust so he swapped it to a non pro exhaust.

I hacked my tailpipe off just past the rear axle on the OEM exhaust and it seemed to make it sound a lot more "throatier".

Can't justify the price of the TRD setup unless its under $500 and you really care about exhaust tone to boot

Is the TRD exhaust different from the one that comes stock on the TRD Off-road?

Offroad exhaust is the same as the SR5 and whatever. Nothing special.

I ordered the TRD exhaust for reasons similar to yours. Some dealers run sales, I got mine 20% off for $550. I just had to drive 1 hr there and back to get it.

Worth it to me as I like mine a lot.
It's gives a nice deep tone without being obnoxiously LOUD and/or drone like many aftermarket units do. Also give the illusion of more power even though I don't believe it actually does.
Looks great too and should last for practically forever with it's stainless construction.

Trick question. Dealers don't use lube.
