Is the hood latching tight and are all the rubbers and stuff that holds it on and firm attached?
If they are missing you will never get it to fit tight it will always rattle.

Yes..I've checked everything and anything even went around tightening everything most of it was already as tight as it would go..it seems to be mostly at the rear of the hood..but I will double check the rubbers she does have alot of miles on her so it couldn't hurt either way..lol..thanx

It's just flimsy metal trash that the hoods are made of and that theme is a reccuring one throughout the body of the truck. The hood lifts and shakes around because the wind which is pushing against it has a stronger force than the flimsy metal is capable of withstanding.

Hood latches, while one of the more nerve wracking and undesirable mods to do (for the very reason that it is nerve wracking) is a well worth it mod. Ever since I mustered the cojones to cut into the body I have been really happy with them since. It takes an extra step to opening the hood, but that makes it no different from the Jeeps and the Hummers that you see running around all over the place. They all use hood hold downs as well and for good reason.
